Monitoring blood pressure
Hypertension is a serious, chronic disorder characterized by a systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg or higher or a diastolic blood pressure of 90 mmHg or higher. In adults, normal blood pressure is below 120 systolic and 80 diastolic. Levels between normal and high are considered pre-hypertension.
