The four pairs of sinuses include the:

  • Frontal sinuses (highlighted in red)
  • Maxillary sinuses (highlighted in blue)
  • Ethmoid sinuses (highlighted in yellow)
  • Sphenoid sinuses (highlighted in orange)

The sinuses moisten and warm air that is filtered by the nose and play a role in voice resonation.
